Voes on S&S super stock ignition??

Is anyone not running their voes with their S&S super stock ignition? Or should I ditch the S&S ignition and get a Crane? From what I have read here, they don't seem to make a difference. In the S&S destrutions they claim you must run voes with their ignition. Is this just CYA on their part, or will it be a problem if I don't use them with their ignition.

I think S&S wants you to run Voes no matter what you are running.
