Ultima engine survey.

Calling all ultima engine riders, have some some questions

1.What size & model are you running???

2.How many miles on your engine and any problems???

3.Is it stock or modified???

4.Would you recommend one???

Thanks for all the input, trying to make a final engine decision here, looking hard at the new 107"

Thanks

WACO

127 el bruto

1. was running 127 el bruto, but ditched it.

2. around 6,000. many problems. the twelve months i had that engine were a very expensive, frustrating kind of hell.

3. stock.

4. no. i've heard many with good experiences (some have already posted), but i had bad ones. it ran like a motherfucker, though. a different kind of pull than my S&S124, more top end. if i knew firsthand of several that had better experiences with them than me (or the various people i've met that also had problems), i would be open minded, i suppose.

113
2500-3000miles
I would recommend them
Had a leaky pushrod tube it was a quick easy fix other than that it has been awesome I am very happy with the motor. It pulls really hard!! The motor seems to keep up and surpass many of the bigger or equal c.i. motors that some of the guys I ride with have.

I wouldn't hesitate to go with Ultima I did alot of research on them and came to good conclusions. Keep in mind S&S motors have had their problems too (they all do) To me Ultima is the biggest bang for the buck and as far as I know made in the USA (hope I haven't hijacked this thread)---Drew
