Would You be pissed?
Here's the description on the web site......................
13 gauge steel for strength, shape, finish and durability that is the best
value in the industry. Each of our fenders follows the curve of the tire and
gives the right fit - a snug one that rounds with the tire.
Now. Look at the pic and tell me......Would you be pissed or am I being an asshole? It's a reputable builder, so I'm gonna give them one more chance to make it right before I bash them. Its only been 4 weeks of run-around so far.....maybe this is my week.

That doesn't look like the right fender.
You don't have that mounted yet, do you?

Tire profiles vary from one manufacturer to the next. Wheel width will also determine how round a tire is. Most tires fit a range of wheel sizes.
Weld a piece in the end that matches your tire exactly. You might also be able to dolly the fender into shape and leave some smooth transitions.

What is your goal? Is it going to be an ultra short fender where you will be able to look down at the fender shape and see the lack of form fit, or do you want the side view of the fender to match your vision? My rear fender is more of a classic pro-street drag type fender that is pretty flat across the top....not rounded with the tire profile. If my fender was ultra short, then it would look fuckin' stupid, but since it is a full fender, the side view is what I was trying to accomplish.

They are most likely talking about the curve of the diameter around the tire, not the bead to bead profile.

yeah but... Like what was said above, same tire, vary rim width (ie a 300 tire on a 10, 10.5, or an 11 will have a dramaticly different curve. I'm pretty sure that what the fender manu was stating is that the side profile of the fender will properly follow the curvature of the tire OD.

I know exactly what they meant.....talked to them before buying just to make sure we were on the same page. Turns out I was anyway. They admitted to running out of their stock and using another supplier. Said they would correct it ...now no contact. Guess I'll just put this one on ebay, cause I sure the hell aint using this ugly mf
