wount shift over third gear

no big deal, started it up for the first time today, TP124, BDL top fuel, Jims 6sd. fukin cool, up&down the street at the shop.

If I have the trans arm too back or rod too short or what ever? does the gear set need more throw on the upper end?

Where do you have the shifter arm clocked at? Should at 11 o'clock position. May want to adjust the rod out some more. Sounds like it a brand new tranny and shouldn't need a shifter pawl adjustment, but it wouldn't hurt to check it.
