Bike building parts list

I have a wierd request. If I find one I can tell you why I am looking for one.

I am looking for a ocmplete bike build list of what say comes in a bike in the box kit form BBc or anyone for that matter. I know all the basic things and many of the technical things I will need in the build up, but being this is my first cusotm I know their are alot of gromments and washers that I will need as well..

So if their was a bike in the box parts list that someone had I could take the list and say cross the frame off for the frame I want. I could cross the wheels off for the wheels I want. Etc ETc. But then at the end I will be left with all the little nuts and blot packages that I will need.

Then I will have a complete check list with the parts I need and the parts I want to make my bike mine.....

ANYONE?

I can understand not publishing a parts list, but from what I've read you won't show a picture of a complete build... Bogus

His website has about 20 completely built bikes on it!! WTF. I'm not a customer of Joe's (maybe I should say not yet) but I for one appreciate his willingness to share his experience and knowledge.(To every other pro who does the same, kudos to you too)

We show pics of complete builds, just not customer's painted machines.
Do you even own a bike...

I have an Excel file that is not quite complete but it is a good start. If you input the quantities and prices, it keeps a running tab on your project. I will try to post it as a .xls file. PM me if it does not work.

Best of the holiday season to you and yours!!

Brad

PS. Nope, can not post an .xls file. PM me and I can email it to anyone,

Heres my thoughts on things... and where I stand. By the way I went to your site to check it out Calcusotm. Nice site.

I own a large motorcyle shop that deals with dirt bikes and anythign else. I can order any part at dealer cost and build a bike with exactly the parts i want.

I have never built a bike from scratch but have tinkered here and their with them so aside from the major parts and some minor ones i would have no clue about little gromments and bolts that hold things together.

But if i started with a BBC Venom pro street kit i owuld have every nut and bolt needed to get the job done and then I oculd trade out parts I did not like by ordering what i want. To bad the major things I want are the 124" S &S VFI motor and Pro one sinister wheels. These are big items anc cant be substiutued. But i purchase the BBC kit I will ahve left over parts and weill have to start another bike. The second time around i will know what it takes to get one going good and what little parts ill need.

Make sense?

As a matter of fact, yes I do. I would say it's a helluva lot better than that P.O.S in your gallery.

Well, let's see it then. If you are feeling froggy you should jump.

Guys that come on here posting their names, their businesses and so on are respected for standing by their convictions and allowing themselves to be judged.

Who are you? Where is your bike? What contributions are you making to the forum?

Put up or shut up.
