5 speed trapdoor bearings
New bearings I ordered are sealed.Ones I removed (stockHD 8992A) aren't.Are these replacements ok or do I need to remove the material.

Its weird I always have used non sealed ones the tranny fluid should keep them lubricated. I have not seen any updates telling us to use a sealed bearing here but all the ones Eastern sells now are sealed......All the ones I have in stock are the sealed style though......The HD parts book shows a non sealed bearing there. Pic below is OE Harley bearing

I picked them out.....All is good.Yeah Pushrod these were eastern bearings as well.
