Ultima Wiring Harness LED diagnostic

Hoping someone could confirm how the LED diagnostic light on the module is supposed to function. If it is lit, does that mean there is a short?

My yellow led is on when I turn on the ignition, but I don't have the ignition wire (yellow in diagram) hooked up to anything on the bike yet. (Lights/brake/coil) How could there be a short?

Any suggestion why the yellow led light (ignition) is lit?

Here's the module I have

Sounds right. When I do connect it to ignition accessories the led fades out. Thanks for the info.

30amp pics

Here's a couple of pics of the old amp and new one installed. I replaced an older 30amp (not sure what brand) with the new Ultima 30amp. Not much room to work with on choppers so I didn't add the 15amp breakers. Just spliced it all into the yellow ignition wire.

Did a bunch of clean up on extra wire length. The extra work is worth it when I find connections holding on by a **** hair

just watch the splice, there might be a reason it had an amp, or could be just a safety measure.

Glad you got it man. ride safe.
