revtech to baker trans swap

Hey Guys
im rebuilding my bike for a cross country trip next summer. Lots of changes but one of the first to adress.

i have a 5 speed revtech 5 speed kicker in a softail style case. Wanting to go to a baker OD kicker setup.

Going to kick only mag, the revtech kicker components are pretty janky so i want to get the baker stuff in there as it will at least work.

its an evo engine left side chain drive with a 3 inch open bedl primary, im waiting for Baker to call me back regarding the gearset fitting in the revtech case.

That said, if thats not an option, does anyone know if i could use a new baker trans and my primary and everything else would bolt right up?

i can only speculate baker are making their cases in the same spec as revtech for fitment reasons but?

Turns out its "possible" but takes a lot of hogging at the case to clearance it, and even just pressing the bearing out can potentially crack the case since they are a bit thinner. Expected.

Looks like i gonna save some more pennies and just get an entire baker unit.
