Help finding Spike air filter for Ironhorse

Ok people, I am having problems finding a spike air filter for my 04 ironhorse. Found 1 on Amazon but it doesn't have the mount/adapter that mounts to the 2 heads for support. Any help would be great.

It has a S&S 111 with a S&S G carburator.

you can buy a spike that fits your bike and buy a support bracket, they are separate things.

There are a ton of air cleaner kits for the S&S carb. You might be better off going that route..have you tried to find a K & N filter for your system?

They bolt up to the carb, and or breathers so anything thats S&S E or G should work on an evo.

R U sure the filter you have isnt reusable?

If you have a Super E/G Carb and an Evo motor (Which you have)

you search for
"Super E/G Air Cleaner Spike"

for the mount
"Super E/G Evo Carb Support"

Here you go:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BIG-DOG-MOT...sid=m570.l1313

I have one on my 07 Texas Chopper.

BTW - You'll probably have to go up a few sizes on the intermediate jet.

There are a ton of these, that unit Chuck linked is as good as it gets (I assume its a reusable filter]

OP, the make and model of the motorcycle doesn't matter. Its all about the carb (E or G) and the engine (your is and Evo) breather mounts.

Like mentioned above, you'll probably have to upgrade your carbs intermediate jets. Let me know about the jets. I have a few laying around that I don't need.

Get'er done

I guess getting the air filter is on hold for a few. I've been having fuel leaking out of my carb vent hose and want to get that fixed first. I've cleaned the carb bowl, I've rebuild the lower carb bowl, and I set the float to the proper height and still leaks.

I can help you when you get ready just PM or email me. I know what bracket fits the 111. D&M was the leader in this stuff but as sales are slowing they are getting harder to get parts from.

On the carb have you checked the needle and seat?

John, are the breathers different on the 111"engine ? I've read that this engine wasn't the best from S&S

Ok so if I get a spike air cleaner kit similar to the one in the picture where does the s&s carb adapter support go? I know I would buy it separate but does it replace the adapter in the picture that comes with the air cleaners?
