Rear brake install on a trike

Can I just use a splitter on the rear calipers or do i need a proportioning valve?

Just between rear calipers? (i presume you have equal calipers?)
or you run all including front with one master?
In either case i wouldn't use the valve.
I don't even use the valve here- where there are 2 calipers in the rear and only one in front.
