85 fxst stiff clutch ez pull questions

Hey there, I have a buddy I'm trying to help. He has a 1985 fxst with a 4 speed kicker. The clutch pull is too hard for him and wants an ez pull setup. Is there a company that makes an internal ramp replacement set up for the 4 speeds? Haven't seen one so I've been looking at the amp research perch mounted ones. BUT they mount to the anti rattle spring location on later levers. So my question on that is, will a later lever with the rattle spring fit the early 85 perch? Or will I have to replace the perch too? and if so will the perch fit and line up with the stock switch housing?
Thanks.

I have fitted this conversion to 3 shovelheads,... you change the pressure plate, the 10 springs and retainer plate, add the 3 parts in the kit & you get a one finger pull clutch,... best thing I have ever bought for shovelhead clutches,....it works on 3, 5 & 10 finger clutch hubs........ sure someone Stateside will supply the kit ...

this s the set up on my latest Shovelhead, I have used a 10 finger clutch hub but they work real well on 3 or 5 finger hubs as well..... like I said you get a one finger pull clutch, a real pleasure to ride with it...

Does it matter that the engine is not a shovel? This is a one year bike Harley made. First year of the evo for the fxst and last year of the 4 speed kicker. So it has the same trans as the shovel but the engine is a 80" evo.

as long as it has this type of clutch from the factory it will work,... if a later type clutch is fitted I doubt it, but I don't know as shovelheads are the latest Harleys I work on,.. do you have photos of the clutch of the bike your working on ?

I do not, he is out of town for the next week or so and then is bringing the bike to me. I will check back in when I have the bike in my possession.
