Todds Cycle seat pan

Hey guys, so here's another ? for ya. We need to wake up this place

My new money pit has a Todds Cycle seat pan. I'd like to get another one and have it covered in leather. The one that's on it is just too slippery. I need to make this bike easier to ride.

Any leads where I might find one?

Last I heard Todd relocated to one of the Hawaiian islands but still had a shop there.

Not quite following you....seat pans for dummies here...you are saying that the seat pan is too slippery..you mean like it is?....How about after it is covered with some nice thick foam and then covered with leather..or are you saying that it is shaped wrong? and you slide off the back like mine? from here it just looks like you don't have enough foam on it....is it uncomfortable? and could you use another seat pan and just weld your bracket on? Seems like it would be hard to buy something online and it not be right..ship it back..no good......Here is that thread , maybe this guy can help you .....Ok, from looking at some of your other pictures, it looks like you need to add a little arch in the back..

52, the seat is just powder coated. I was hoping to find another "raw" pan with the same mounting hardware tnat i could just send out and have it covered in leather. I think a simple black leather seat would be just right. What do you think? Its too slippery as is.

I think I'll just havt to send the one i have out to have the work done. I think another one with the same exact hardware would cost too much. Ill just have to suck it up and not ride it for awhile.

My opinion..finding a seat with that bracket that will just fit on is close to non existent..Probably lots easier just to buy the seat or pan you want. and weld or bolt on a new mount..keep your spring..and your wallet..or modify that one.. fiber glass...
If I could sit on it I could give you some better ideas...

Why not just buy the seat you want and bolt it to your existing seat pan...cover the bottom with
speaker cloth, leather, or similar material to hide every thing..easy

Just get that one covered? Check with chassis design for a seat pan. But you will need to weld all the brackets in the right place
