Help - swingarm chain wear guard thingy?

Not sure what to call it but on my Saxon chopper there is a teflon or white plastic piece sitting in a notch in my swingarm near the pivot point under the chain. It seems to prevent wear to both the chain and the swingarm and the swingarm seems to have been made so that this part sits on top of it (bolted or riveted in place). Mine is worn out and I am afraid that the chain will soon be hitting the metal of the swingarm. Does anyone know what this part is really called ( wear guard, chain protector etc.) and does anyone know where I can find a replacement. My bike is a custom made chopper made using saxon Griffin parts but I am not sure that this is a stock saxon frame and the shop that originally made the bike no longer exists as the builder died.

any help would be appreciated

I believe nylon is the material to use. There,a bunch of options of additives in it making it more durable and slippery. You might want to cut a right size piece from a stock bought from McMaster Carr https://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-n...heets/=17wpwq2 or

I used a piece of 1/16" thick stainless steel on my swing arm to protect the paint from the occasional belt slap.

Wthout a picture, I am going to guess you will need to shape a piece of UHMW. They make an oil impregnated version of it too.
