Engine Popping on De accceleration

Just recently while DE acceleration mainly in 1st thru 4th gear the engine is popping. I have check for air leaks on the carb, found nothing. I'm thinking that one of the circuits on the carb possibly has been messed with since this has happen after the scoot was taken to the shop. Replaced spark plugs, still have the same issues. Engine is 111 S&S with a S&S G carb. Acceleration thru the gears is fantastic, strong, no issues there. Any suggestions?

I'm running a D&M air cleaner & custom pipes. Like I stated, the problem with the back firing or popping during de acceleration just occurred a few months ago.

Usually indicative of a lean idle circuit. If this just started and you haven't changed anything...I would check for vacuum leaks...Like Poop mentioned.

Thanks for all the infor. I could not fine a vacuum leak , using WD40. I took the bike to the shop, told the service manager the issue. Let you all know what happens.
