Ultima 127

How yall doing, new to the forums.
Recently purchused an Ultima 127, love it. Making a trip down to Daytona bike week this year, and wanna make sure everything is good.
Curious what you ultima user's prefer when it comes to spark plugs, oil, oil filter and fluids

Thanks

I have the 127..Have not changed any plugs yet , but it's about time ,, 6500 miles...I like the synthetic oil.. 20-50.,I have the open primary, so no concerns on primary oil..If you have closed primary...use 20w 50 there because most all 20w 50 is made with out friction modifiers, which will make your clutch slip..
Any Evo oil filter will work......Just make sure it is for an Evo....The Evos' have low oil pressure
so you sure would not want to stick a twin cam filter on it....or anything else..How do you like that power??? awsome huh?

Sounds simple enough. This would sll be easier if we were able to order parts directly from Ultima haha

You can get anything to keep your scoot on the road without Ultima.

They have gotten to a point where they are a pretty reliable engine. I ordered one of their first engines back in 2003(?) and it was pretty rough. It still seemed to have sand on the outside of the cases from the casting, and started to run real rough a few hundred miles later. Sold it quick luckily before it imploded!
