If it helps anyone, my 2005 built 127 is EG05P****.

Midwest never responded to my email looking for a number breakdown to verify if mine was a 127 or not. Through some research on the web with engine and crank numbers plus measuring the stroke through a spark plug hole I've determined that it is a 127.

So it is rumor that 127 is stamped on the flywheel 180 degrees from timing mark?

I couldn't find the displacement stamped on my flywheel. I found a Engine Case/Flywheel Stroke code chart on the Ultima site. The Chart shows a "B" code flywheel as having a 4.500" stroke.

i bought my bike, and it came with an ultima in it. i would never buy one just for the above reason. this is basic, im sure no other engine company couldnt tell serial data, im pissed with jireh n midwest and i hope they read this.
