speedometer wiring

i have a promax digital speedometer/tachometer.my question is the speed sensor i have from the trans has a clip with 3 wire's running to it.but my promax has only bare wire's.is there anyway to figure which of the wire's is which according to the promax paperwork i need speed signal input wire(blue),speed sensor ground wire(black) and speed sensor power wire(orange)..so that would account for the 3 but the promax color code does not match the color on the sensor they are red ,white and black...any idea's or hope can understand the question...

Not sure but, black=Ground you need a power wire ,orange is power from sensor so red may be power on your speedo and white = blue?
