I thought I bought a diesel to save money since it is a by product of gasoline production. It is over $3.20 a gallon in So. Cal.

$3.15 on 9/1 in Durango, CO

The rally is this weekend also.
I'm seeing plates from all over the country. It'll be an expensive ride home on Monday for some.

Still remember everyone (including myself) hating it when gas prices started creeping up into the $1.00 range . . . . . . . . It was in the $.80's when I really started driving.

My torque converter blew up on me last week so I started walking everywhere I didn't absolutely need to drive to. Pissed me off when it hapened, but maybe it was a blessing in disguise . . . . . ?

I understand what you're saying. Gas was .95 cents, when I started driving. But think about how long it took to get there. Think about how long it took for gas to go from $1.00 to $2.00 a gallon..............Years, over 10 years. Now think about how long it took for it to go from a little over $2.00 to almost $4.00 a gallon. Less than a year, that's fucked up............

Buffalo, NY:
This AM on the way to work
reg: 2.89
plus 3.09
Super 3.19

This PM on the way home
reg 3.89
plus 3.94
super 3.99

That is just plain gouging. It's a bunch of crap. Now if the stations were giving the extra $$ to help the displaced people from the storm, I would be down with it, but this is just plain apportunistic greed!
