04 gettin high needs a battery

Hi I'm new here and looking for some help. I'm the 2nd owner of a 2004 gettin high and it needs a battery. The last guy who owned it had a little battery and it moved all over. I called Redneck today and was told to use a drags spec. part # 2113-0012. I got one and it did not fit. I was looking to see what you guys are running. I was looking at an odyssey battery part # 545mj I thought it mite work. thanks for all and any help.

Aside from getting a battery that will fit in the box, you also need to keep the battery from moving/bouncing around. Whether it's clamped down, or wedged still with high density foam, etc., it's important.
otherwise, the battery could fail from all the battering it would take.

I have the odyssey 545 in mine and no problems, also I cut some black neoprene foam and lined the batt. tray to hold batt. in place (Jireh cycles p/n 78-173).

Usaully no jacket on Rednecks. The battery you have from Drag will never fit I cant imagine who at Redneck told you that. They have always required a smaller battery. Deka makes a battery that fits it too.

The PC545 might be hard to find. Drag and cci no longer carry them saying they are out of business. Not sure how true that is. Here is a chart of some battery sizes and pt #'s. I think the Deka is the best if you can find one the proper size. Google deka we found a local source for our Ginsu bikes battery.

Ya the pc545 or most smaller batteries will not start a Revvy very good. You might look at the Braille batteries. I havent personally used them but I do sell them and everyone has reported good results so far. They offer both a carbon fiber battery and a regular one. I only have the cf ones on my site but I can get the other type as well they are less $. If interested PM me and i'll look up pricing tomm.. I included a link to the cf ones on my website. They use them in racing apps. for cars too but the big posts are removeable for bike usage. I think the first one listed will fit your batt box. They advertise 360cca. Do a search on the forum some of the guys here are using them and posted thier opinions of them.
