redneck gettin high...trashed but trying to fix
hey fellas I bought a new project the other day for.... well... lets just say cheap. it has a clear title but it took one hell of a hit in the front end. forks, wheel, fender, (anything in front of triple trees is crushed) etc. and heres where I stand. Im not wanting to put much in it for now and the bike has Chrome Performance machine wheels. 250 rear perfect without a scratch chrome which I looked up tp cost around 1400 and the front is destroyed. Now, here is my issue. like I said dont want to put much in this bike so should I
A: sell the rear rim and try to buy a cheap set of spoked rims or do people even buy just a single rear rim??? I know I never have so...
or
B: try to find a front matching rim used somewhere?
opinions on this appreciated.

I see people posting single rims on e-bay all the time, so you can probably sell the one you have or you may find a matching front to replace your damaged one.

Post a pic of the bike. I've been favoring spokes on most bikes lately but depends on the paint and other accessories. Let's see it.

Ill try to snap a pic in the morning but its a chrome pm "wrath" wheel with matching pulley. The one wheel and pulley together are like 1600 but I just want to be able to ride this thing soon! Maybe I could put it on Craigslist for sale, or find someone willing to trade a set of spoke rims for my rim and pulley. I mean after all, my one rim and pulley is worth 3-4 times what a set of spokes cost...

Just wanted to stop back in and type a few lines about the guys at Redneck in liberty SC. I took the frame down myself in the back of my truck and hand delivered it to the guys at the shop. Great group of guys, highly skilled, and my personal favorite type of people to deal with, laid back country fellas just like myself. They immediately took my frame in and not only fixed it but fit it better to me than it could have ever been before, at a very reasonable price. Rumors have been flying that redneck closed up shop but I assure you that not only have they not closed up, but have a few toy they are working on that I'm sure will really grab some attention very soon! Don't know if they get on here much but if so, thanks and you have a new customer/friend for life! Great people there, building badass machines! Couldn't have asked for a better experience
