cost to powder coat a rigid frame.

How much is reasonable to pay for a black powder job on a 2" up krafttech frame? I had some body quote me $350 and that seems a little high. or is it?

TNT Powdercoating in Shingle Springs Ca., charged me $250 for the frame, engine mount, and oil bag mounts. Included everything and a choice of over 1000 powdercoat colors.

I agree with everyone else. At $350 with a little bit of ingenuity you can buy a powdercoat gun and build a curing oven that the frame will fit in and start your own business.

I paid $300 for blasting, silver base coat then candy blue with blue flake and then clear coated. It included a battery tray and 2 motor mounts. The funny part is when I got my tins back from the painter, the color we had "thought" matched the powder perfectly, turned out to not match. Another $300 later and my frame is painted to match. So anyway, $350 for black IS too much in my opinion.

$350 is a good price for a Bizz that has a rep. If you know others that have went with them, and had good service, jump on that one. The big ? is alway the rep, and the job being done in a timely manor.
