How much for...

Hey Phantom,

Been lurking in the forum and I like your business style and contribution to the forum. I noticed a thread where you said you could offer a basic 200 rear rigid kit for about $12,500.

I'm not ready to buy yet (but others may be interested to know also) wondering what you'd charge for a 250 rear tire, single downtube rigid kit. I'm after something that'd have the overall stance and look of Slick's WCC on the Chopper Club banner. I prefer spoked wheels, don't need a huge engine. I like the Hardcore II kit, but a 250 rear tire is a pretty important factor in obtaining the look I'm after.

Also hoping you could offer some advice as to other factors that weigh heavily in price and where savings are to be found. (for example, it sounds like tire size impacts cost greatly)

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Hey Poorman,
As of right now, we do not have a rigid 250 complete bike kit available. It is in the works behind a couple of other projects. When a guys steps up to the 250, the price seems to take a dramatic jump in price with the individual parts. Personally, I am hoping this welll be changing soon since the 280/300 platform has been released. If you are looking for a complete kit customized t your specs in the 250 rigid platform, I would check with www.calcustom.com and see what Joe can do for you. He is a good guy and you can count on the fact that he won't steal you blind some of these other shops out there.
Thanks brother,
Jay
