The full value of any forum is the availibility of the information contained within that forum. The exclusion/removal/censorship of any information based on someones personal feeling/inner circle/bias serves no real purpose to the forum itself, only to protect those few with whom the information may not be favorable. Which in turn only provides a disservice to the majority of the forum users by preventing them the ability form their own opinion based on the "complete" information that was once present.

well, that's not true at all, rick. i give summaries of my experiences with several products, both good and bad, ranging from primaries, engines (not just ultima), bike manufacturers, and local bike shops, when asked. so your question is a loaded one, in this case loaded with a false premise.

if you're asking in what ways do i think the forum is suffering your antics, it's like this: you pitch a tantrum fit, and threads with significant information get deleted. even threads which are not started by you have been locked because of your storming in and clawing at another poster's eyes. additionally, somebody might have something to post that you don't like, and you hound and belittle and call names in an attempt to silence that person. to quote a mod's PM today, these are "banable offenses." without a doubt, someone who attempts to control and suppress information on this website that is helpful to people in choosing which products or services to select is hurting this forum.

thank you, frank. i'm so glad that somebody is understanding now how this works. one man wields that much power, if the mods fall into his game. i'm very thankful that one sees it for what it is. that's a point i've been trying to get across for days, although i suspect you've understood it long before now.
