Well , I certainly didn't get any paper work or compliance labels from Ultima in regards to being epa certified. I've read on previous posts from Phantom that he was spending massive amounts of money to get his bikes epa certified. Phantom himself has told me on the phone he was spending masssive amounts of money to get his motorcycles epa certified
Has this issue been addressed by Phantom ? If he addressed this issue could someone please direct me to this information. The fact that Ultima states that there engines are epa compliant doesn't do much for me. Does that mean if your having problems registering you just tell the DMV that Ultima engines are epa compliant ? What gives here ?
So are you saying the two bikes you purchased from him couldnt be Titled?

well, from reading this thread, you'd see that this man has already put his trust in phantom, twice. sounds like he's still trying to get answers, after paying up.

apparently, you see no reason why phantom should answer?

Because it is a really good question. especially if you live in a state. where you need that to get it titled.

The 2005 kit bike in which I purchased from Phantom came with a Title that was not Phantoms. I did register that bike without incident. I also believe(I could be wrong) a 2005 bike may be not subject to some of the new epa rules in 2006. I presently have an 2006 model I have not tried to register as I would like to sell it as new. My question only comes after a certain club member was having problem registering his 2005 Phantom bike in the fine State of New Jersey.

To my customers, brothers, and friends... Your support is absolutely priceless!!
this is from his one post on this thread (page 7, post #101).

seems this thread has gone just the direction he prefers. guys, nobody is trashing phantom behind his back. he is simply not responding. from the looks of things, it's pretty easy to imagine that RRSA's claims are entirely valid. for y'all to slam him for posting up is backwards, counterproductive, and blind to the stated point of this whole thread: to gain information about doing business with phantom choppers.

here, a customer of jay speaks up, and people want to ask what this has to do with the purpose of this thread.

everything, guys. everything.

I understand your question, but since you havent had that problem I was wondering why you were concerned about that problem.Im not taking sides in this it just seems like you should let the person who is having a problem be the one to bring it out.And Poop its fine I can take it...lol

I don't see where he has ANY specific issues anywhere in this thread.....Just a lot of subterfuge and innuendo, propagated to spin negativity.

Please, by all means, correct me if I am in err.

I would like the problem to be addressed before it become a problem SportsterCraig. As previously mentioned I'm going to sell the bike. It was always my intention to sell the bike, I had discussed this in great detail with Phantom.
I would like to know what I'm selling so that there are no surprises for me and especially the buyer.
Are you implying that I just sell the bike and let the buyer work it out ?
