Any of you that have done business with Jay, own or have owned one of his bikes, how about a little feedback on your experience, the quality of the bike, working with the shop, etc.

If you don't want to post public, PM me or drop me an email.

Thanks.

30+ large ones to spend...

We've seen where a thread like this can go. I'd be doing some BBB checking along with some other financial research on my own and probably making arrangements to sit down and talk with the man before wiring or mailing a big chunk of change and sitting back hoping everything works out OK. I'd want to have a good degree of confidence that the 30+ large ones were well placed for the result I was hoping for but not willing to make the trip because it's too far away--especially if you have valid concerns.
All we've got here is banging, praising, banging, praising...
Is any of what's been in this thread in any way predictive of what to expect from a possible business transaction?

It's nothing more than positive/negative, positive/negative and so on.

I wouldn't think a thread like this one is really helpful to you in a meaningful way either one way or the other.

BBB? No mention of Phantom Choppers. easy check. did that intitially.

Found their vendors or at least the ones they use most often to check their standing ( pays invoices on time, etc.)

You can ask for references (other builds) but seriously doubt any sales person will give you his problem deals to talk to.

About the thread - yes it has. Praise is fine and good to know, but every business has problems with products, fullfilling orders, client satisfaction, etc. What they do when that occurs tells the real story of what kind of company/person they are. Question is: do you want to be the problem or observe how they handle someone's issues with their company?

Rick took care of editing out his own posts. Gonna be hard to figure out what happened from here. But needless to say you missed a little action in this thread. But enjoy the popcorn

Well please let us know what you end up doing, what scooter you end up going with? I would be very interested as I'm sure a few others would be to.
