Seems like you had some challenges, but i really admire how you don't half ass do something. Then you had issues with family, which i can relate, as my wife has had some health issues of her own this year, and so has my son.

Don't have a build going yet, but this inspired me a bit, to maybe tackle it some day.
I'm not much of a mechanic, but i try. I can weld and grind though.
I knew the build was a couple of years ago, but once i stumbled on it, i couldn't stop reading.
It would be real rewarding to straddle a bike you put together.
