Hey everyone, been a couple years since I moved from my shop in FL, but been too long and decided it was time to get building, at least once more, and this time for me. You can follow the build on https://twitter.com/axeychrome in case you use that too.
Here's episode 1, enjoy!

Looks like a War Eagle frame, hope you are one of the lucky ones who didn't get f@#k over when you bought it! I got mine from a middle man COD, so I didn't get screwed, but there have been a shit-load of horror stories posted.

It is a war eagle. 5" out, 0 up, 42 deg, drop seat wrath, 300 RSD. been collecting dust for years.
I know a lot of people weren't happy customers of his. Fortunately i was also in FL and knew him and his family really well, used almost exclusively his frames, he machined the wheels for this bike too, and never a problem. even worked for him in his shop for a week to work off some parts he made for me.
decline in the chopper market finally forced him to close shop last year.

someone commented they can't see the videos, so i'll throw in a pic too.
Basically so far i've got the swingarm and frame, progressive shocks, and HHI triple trees mounted. Saturday i fought that fn 300 tire forever onto the wheel, as well as the front one.

Tony Starita (Big Tonys Chop Shop) has been building some nice rides using War Eagle stuff exclusively. Good guy and would be a good source if you have any questions during your build...Heres a link....

thanks. very nice bikes on that site, and definitely can tell it's uncle stevie (war eagle)'s frames. too bad he finally had to fold up. only 2 of the bikes i built didn't have WE frames. always thought they had kind of a cool look to them.
got the PM foot controls on last night. also put the hubs in the wheels.

will post pics and vid from latest progress soon. Didn't get much done Saturday as was busy. Kent Motorsports had a ride/event where proceeds went to the float a soldier for wounded warriors. I went out and sold books/shirts with 25% of the proceeds going to the cause as well. Was hot, then i had to share the tent with 4 other people (in pic), but i suffered through it because it was a good cause.
