Finished welding up the basic chassis
And mocked it up on the table at ride height to get a view at the proportions

Where did you get your 1 1/4" roller dies? I have the same roller, and it came with 1", 1 1/2" and 2". I do mostly 1 1/4", and thought about turning the 1" dies. But would rather keep it, and just get the one I need.
Also working on my lathe skills. Cutting those radius's without a radius tool is kind of a bitch.
Very nice build btw. I dig fabrication, no matter what the final product is.

Very cool build. The engine for my boat motor (a Gator-tail mudmotor) is actually a 35 Vanguard, and it's been a great motor. Pretty much bullet-proof. There are some guys out there with the same who've been getting big horsepower ("big" being relative) out of them too with some mods.

I've seen a 35 Briggs put out 68hp and 85lb ft in a pulling garden tractor and it was pretty basic...

Just playing around with the video camera... Wind noise sucks! Next attempt will be with a GoPro Hero.
