Ignition
I have a question and figure someone might know.
I Had to swap the ignition on the FXR (85)
I am looking for a off/start key, which would be 3(?) position off/acc/start I was thinking of getting one in a barrel key style, but a regular key will work as well.
from everything I am looking at I am either sleep or coffee deprived still it is not making any sense.
This is one I was looking at.

I dont run a start button, just run it from the ignition. This would need the switch to start, right?

If you want to start it like a car those types can be bought at most automotive stores.

I never bothered with fancy things. This cheap Autozone 30 amp 4 position key( including sprang starting) makes my wiring simple and eliminates the relay. Serves well for all my bikes. I don,t have other switches except high and low toggle right on the headlight. I do have the main 30 amp+ Three 15 amp circuits( front, rear loads and ignition/instruments-idiot lights ), as it allows to narrow down an electric issue easier.
My handlebars have nothing but throttle on them.
I,m a minimalist.
By the way it,s an electric Zamak box from a hardware store where all my electrics live happily thereafter.

Nice lol, my bike is stripped also, throttle lock only on bars, no signals or horn (clip on horn for inspection) and hi beam and fog light on side cover. I just cant find anyone who can cut spare keys for my key, so might just swap ignition.
