Mounts start with the welding of a 3/8" bolt into a washer, these will be welded to the pipes themselves:

A nice set of pipes unique to this bike , straight , and mounted properly . This is the essence of chopper building , properly made and mounted parts.

Thanks.
Just checking the look of the pipes;

And the 7 degreee 'splay' the pipes take off the frame line.

Now I can pull them off and get the ends painted and then wrap them , they'll get put away as I stiff hafta get this bike out of my house and they are adding to the width!

Had to leave this for a while .
Coming back slowly with the sorting of the oil pressure gauge and switch.
I was gonna have the switch off the rear of the engine but the lines look good and I dont want to mess with them.
At the front of the engine there is a handy port to the oil system.
So I re-purposed a brass fitting , it has 3 off 1/8 NPT threaded holes , 1 for the feed , 1 for the gauge and one for the switch:

I dont have the switch yet.
Thanks for lookin' and not commenting.

S&S kit showed up:

Excellent fit and product as is the usual from that company.
As in previous posts there is the opportunity to utilize some more of the cool burlwood. I soon found there was not enough for a 1 piece air cleaner cover. Some quick computer work and I was able to produce adhesive mask material cut into pie shapes.
You can guess where this is going:
