This sucks. Haven't been on here in a while and lost all mine too. Anyway. How's the build coming along. I started working on my trike again also. How do I post pics on here

look at your post above, click on the camera icon next to your avatar (this one http://www.clubcobra.com/stuff/camera.gif), that takes you to your gallery. then, about four inches down the right side of the page (just above the entry bar for the search function) is the link "upload photos." click there, only try to add one photo at a time. if it's too large, you might have to reduce resolution first.

then, once image is in your gallery, click it to view it. if you wish to insert it into a post, go to the "UBBCode" shown below the pic in the middle of the screen, again next to your avatar. click to highlight the code, copy it, and paste it into the post you're making.

The build is coming along.....slowly.
Have had some health issues and busy with everything else.
So nearly done just a few more large items.
Making a gas tank.
Painting.
Welding headers.

Well I lost my other threads with photobucket.

I don't post much here because it is so slow.
Where did everyone go?

So my little v dub is a 2387cc fuel injected distributor less stroker motor.

Have been tuning on the computer program.

Things are getting close.

Poop 11-09-2017 07:12 AM

good gawd. so we're talking over 200 hp? i don't know engines well. why was she dropping rpms every 3 seconds? is that running lean?

she sure is pretty, though. that motor should be out in the open, make folks think about it.

Yes.
It should be well over 200 at the crank.

It has a lot of head and cam in it.

A 270 @.050 cam is only gonna idle just so good.
Doubt it will be dead slick down low.

Spade115 11-13-2017 07:25 AM

cant wait to see the rolling burnout video :o lol

Well a VW ain't gonna make tons of torque.
The old engine was in the 150 to 160 hp range when healthy.
It never smoked the tires.
I suppose to light. Just scratch a bit. Lots of hook up and go or wheelie...
There was no steering it through 3rd gear.

Of course I have dramatically re-geared the trans
