I just got to ride an 07' Road King last Friday. It had a full fairing, radio, running boards, bags, air ride comfort, you name it. It was a freaking car with two wheels. I gotta say it was awesome. You could ride coast to coast on one of those babies. Anyways getting to the real point here, the guy that let me ride this ultra smooth ridding car on two wheels took my sporty chop out for a spin as well. He came back grinning from ear to ear, needless to say he loved it. He then proceeds to tell me his everyday ride that he rides is an 07' 883 sportster! He then tells me yeah it takes so long to back the Road King out and I can just jump on the sportster and go so I take it most of the time to work and around town on short trips. He has the Road King for when he takes road trips. Now this man has his priorities straght! I love the sporties but baby oh baby some day I'm getting me a car on two wheels too.

yea, I like bobbers too. sportsters are great bikes to work with. I have a fatboy that pretty much sits in the garage... I agree that bobbers should have low bars, but fuck it, I like my apes.

Ok guys, so I have a question, I really like old school bobbers, those nice and clean ones, so my question is, where the hell thay have their battery hidden ? As an example the bobber posted by HOT DAMN! on the 3 page of this thread.

we welded a little battery tray up that sits on my bike in front of the rear tire, waaay down low. mine was a kick only - but i recently had to stick a starter on there cuz i broke my heel. so i needed a new battery - but wanted to stay small. i used a VRod battery.

i have some pics of mine in my gallery. its a 72 ironhead with a bolt on hardtail.
