I gotta say I def don't like the oil bag up there. Ruins that nice curve in the downtube.

I agree, at least with that style oil bag. What was wrong with where you had it initially?

It hits my legs. I guess I'm gonna experiment with some new locations. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

I have seen tubular oil bags that mount vertically on the downtube that look great. Tough with the radius of yours though.

It look like I'll have to build something that I can mount on the front closer to the bottom of the frame. I was on the fence with this mounting location anyway.

You could always do a scoop like mine. Looks great just a bitch to do oil changes.

You got a pic of it?....Nevermind....Is that welded to the frame? How does it mount?

Rubber mounted, one on the bottom of the downtube and 2 on the frame rails.

What did you do with the bottom mounts? How are they isolated with the rubber?

dino - my oil bag sits in the front too, rubber mounted like barefoot choppa's. i found that the vacuum method to pull out the oil is the easiest instead of a drain.

There are tabs on the frame rails that rubber grommets fit into with a metal sleeve, similar to alot of gas tank set ups.
