just realized what i have

I remembered my dad had a old bike that has been there since I was about. 12 years old,I'm 28 now,one day I asked him where it was,he had it in a old shed in back of his house,we pulled it out and there it was,a 1982 yamaha virago 750....I have always wanted a bobber,so I got online and typed in virago bobber, man there it was,all different types of different creations everyone came up with, the one bike I fell in love with was on youtube,it was the same bike I had,it was the one that had a custom seat that was made from a no parking sign! Anyways I'm gonna start on it pretty quick, looking at different ideas,if anyone has any problems they know I will run into choppin this bike up please give me a heads up,I will post pics soon....thanks...ACE

Almost a year late hope you are not discouraged.
First before spending money chopping it, get it to run first. Nothing worse than finding out
it won't run after spending big bucks chopping it.Clean carbs & tank, fresh oil & filter, new battery
check timing, BRAKES, etc... once its running ride it a bit, few weeks or months find and fix the
trouble spots then go crazy. Have fun with it
Oh yea you might move this in to a build area not paint
