overlook the titles "feel the power of Mikey" and "let's throw some chairs" by the OCC tools and watch the one titled "too bad' trooper"

it is Goodmorning amercas story w/ interviews from the kids family & friends.

Mickey can go and throw his chairs. I'd rather ride my bike.
That's real stress relief for me.

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?

On the flip side, it sounds like some are saying "set him free" based on the same incomplete information.

The cop has no right to hang up on someone in need NO MATTER WHAT I can't believe anyone can defend him even if he has a side. My brother is a cop.The cops job is to "Protect and Serve" . The job desription says it all. He was wrong to hang up. We do not really know if he tried to get help for the kid or not but the hang up was uncalled for.

Typical

While it certainly sounds like this guy deserves a comprehensive ass kicking for his response to the situation, I agree this is clearly bullshit publicly distributing a petition to take him down. A petition shouldnt have any merit in this case. Just the facts. Thats what this comes down to. Unfortunately, unwarranted scapegoating of employees is typical in any law enforcement field. There is always a coalition working to shit can one, or several others at once. By interdepartmental I mean (other officers). Its pathetic, the fun of the jealous, the threatened, the chickenshit. And the field is overrun by these types. These gutless yes men/women can typically be found in upper management, or are those willing to take it in the ace to get there.

Tats
That applies to anywhere but that does not really have anything to do with his actions does it?

He never learned anything except to be more careful next time. An asshole cop with a hard on for bikers is, are, was, were, an asshole cop with a hard on for bikers and there are plenty of them out there who still think we (espicially patch holders) are "dirtbags". Al

tommy- I am not saying that you are right or wrong because I don't "really" know what happened either but how can you say the media is dead wrong and you are right when all you have done is said the opposite of the media?

I know this is an old thread but I have another horror story that happened where I lived.
A guy was pissed off at another guy so he calls the cop station and tells them this guy is dealing drugs out of his house but the guy didn't even smoke pot. About 6 in the morning the cops come busting into the guys house, he's lying in bed with his 2 young children and his wife is in the kitchen cooking breakfast. A cop shoots the guy and kills him right there in the bed. The first newspaper article says it was an accident and that the cop had over greased his gun and it went off accidentally but when they did an autopsy they found 2 slugs in his chest. That kinda blew the "accident" scheme. Know what happened? The chief took early retirement at full benifits and the cop that did the shooting got a lay-off and went to another state to work as a cop there and the town settled out of court with the wife. A cop is not your friend he is your enemy.
