Finish products

Hey Mike, What products do you folks use when you final sand and buff?

I have always tried new products to get the best results. I have never been really happy with one system. Do you guys use foam or cotton buffing pads? What grit of sand paper do you use? Ect. stuff like that. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Hey Spider,
We use Presta compounds for the initial cut over 2500-3000grit Maguiers sandpaper for final sanding. I knock down edges with 1500 if needed then jump to 2000..Then final with 2500 or 3000 depending on color. Black gets the 3000. I use Presta Strata for the initial cut with a wool pad. Presta has a neat system

..Then I use 3-m Foam polish with a foam waffle pad.

Then we use final prep for the final wipe. Hope that helps you man..
