Misc. fab.
I'm going to set up this thread as a place for me to post up pics of misc. jobs that I think might be of interest, other than tanks and bars. Here you'll find examples of frame jobs, seat pans, exhausts, you name it.
So here's the first pic for the thread, and exhaust I finished up the day before Christmas for a customer. It's a large dia. exhaust, and what the customer asked for. Stepped from 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" to 2 1/4" and finaly into a 3" collector I made.
More pics to be added soon, Mark.

It hasn't run yet, it's still in my shop for a couple other small pieces to be made yet. Thanks for the compliments, Mark.

Whats the difference in tube lengths, rear looks LONG... Equal is better when possible. Looks really cool though. I'm planning to do a set for my bike in stainless. Did a couple sets for streetrods, never a bike though. Keep up the good work!!

Equal is better, but this was for looks, not so much performance, and I work by the hour, which would have been more money to get it to look good AND be equal length, and he had a set budget. I've done the street rod/ drag race stuff also, it's all the same, but diff. LOL. I think I may actually be doing a stainless set for a drag bike soon, which would be smaller tubing and equal length, we'll see. Thanks, Mark.

Thought I would stick this pick in here. It's a 4"up CFL. I raked the neck out, single down tubed it, cut the batt box off the oil tank, moved all the fittings in the oil tank and added another mount, added a batt tray, sectioned a Villian tank up to narrow and shorten it, as well as rounded the top side a little and dished in the sides. It's a current build in the WCC forum, Shane Gatto (Rootbeerfloat) is building it for Rob of Rob's Cycle. More detailed fab. pics of this build will show up in here as time goes on.

Here is a super clean rear fender mount I made. I took a washer and tacked a nut to it. Then I welded the washer to a piece of tubing with the nut on the inside. A couple big fender washers and a bolt from inside the fender and done.

The latest project to be completed in the shop, an '06 Sportster getting the 240 tire treatment. Lots of fab work on it. I'll post up my favorite part of the job here, and you can see the entire build here. Click on the "bikes" page. Projects
Here's the strut covers I made to fit over the new struts I made. The covers were a combination of 16ga exhaust elbos and 16ga sheetmetal. They will be chromed.
