78 Suzuki GS750 Bobber
Sorry guys I haven't been around in a while. The upholstery business is booming and I been busy as hell.
I picked up a 78 GS750 for almost nothing and it looks like all the parts are there so I'll have some parts for sale. I want to build a bobber out of it. I already built a KZ550 bobber for the wife. See my pics. I wanted to know if anyone has pictures of a 78ish GS750 Suzuki bobber on the cheap. I'd like to go hard tail maybe drop seat maybe mini apes or flat track bars or clip ons, change the fenders, seat and tank etc. This would be a fast bike... I need pictures and ideas. I know theres a "post your metric chopper" section but I don't have time to look at every page. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

This is how you build a GS750 chopper. Yes, a chopper, not a bobber.
Welding a chunk of pipe between the backbone and the swingarm is not a modification of any merit.
How high are the speed bumps around your area? That's how much clearance you'll need.

1. It looks like shite.
2. Bevel boxes are not designed to take those sort of forces.
3. It looks like shite.
It only takes a little extra effort to do the job right.

Pink bikes don't look like ass? But is it do-able and safe? I can always cut it up and hard tail it later if I don't like it.
