Povertys XS650 build

Road trip tomorrow to get my doner bike, its a 81 with 16k, clean as hell. Ill post up some pictures. This should move fast. I have some drywall and painting to do and my shop will be finished. Then its game on. The only part of the stock frame that will be used is the titled steering head, reworked stock mag wheels and front end. Im excited....My goal is to keep the total cost under $3500

Pov ... I'm sure the dude that has it understands. Just hope it was inside a garage as now you'd need to dig it out of a snow bank!!!

That's why I moved south. Very little of the white stuff.

So...found a guy with two bikes and a buncha wheels , disassembled motors, but he wont move on his price and is dragging his feet on getting the parts from his basement. I never thought it would be this hard to get a clean ohio titled running bike...the search continues. Still working on my shop, got a new TIG, and am getting pumped to get all my seat making stuff all back and organized

Hand make them...Ive had a buncha magazine covers, feature bikes, discovery build off. I had a legit business, but a divorce about three and a half years ago ended my business. I kept my stuff and trying to get re-established again.

Sent a few emails out this morning....lets see if I can find someone to sell me something. It trips me out, I have a fistfull of cash and people either do want to come off thier price even a couple hundred or are like well....im busy and I cant get it out of my garage....or they think a motor in pieces in a box is worth hundreds. If its not together with compression...its not a motor its a box of parts. The saga continues....Still working on my shop. Paint and grey floor epoxy this week...then move everything in.
