the original rim / tyre combo is 19" - but i like the smaller rims with a lot more rubber much more than the 19" wheels ...

looks more bobber-like ...

rim is made in us but brought over from europe, spokes are custom-made, rubber - altough produced in corea was purchased also in US and made it - thx to "Pushrod243" - from USA to my location in China in only a couple of days ...

now i need to find a way to squeeeeze the fatty in without interference to the propshaft

latest update:

just squeezed the wheel in without airpressure to see how it fits!

off course the prop-shaft is in the way and with the wider tyre also not enough space under the fender ...

so i need to conider how to mod the fender and respoke the thing out of center to pass the propshaft ...

anyway! so far i'm happy with the result and was worth the hassle to bring all the stuff here to china!

next update will hopefully follow within a week ...

almost done!

- managed to allign brakedrum, rim, tyre and propshaft

- moved fender some inches to the left

now that whole things is running - just waiting to get the seat back from upholstery ...

now i'm considering wether i shift the frontwheel also to 16 " or keep the 19" but add a very slim AVON speedmaster on ...

feel free to give some feedback which final setup you suggest!

Since today i'm riding "fat" also on the front ...

after bringing another 16 inch rim + tailor-made spokes-set from Germany and after receiving the 2nd tire from the US (THX to "pushrod243") i did it today!

the fender had to go but BJ usually is a dry area with low rainfall during the year so driving without fender won't be a problem

also the tailormade framebag is attached to the ride and comes out nicely ...
