76 Amen Savior Honda

Ten years ago, this started out as a basket case 1976 honda CB750. Today after lots of elbow grease, parts searching and bunches of TLC, this is what it turned out to be.
A work of art or Bat Out of Hell, whichever you prefer.

(My other post - Doing a version of Metric Chop -

Turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so....

I picked up this little junker for under 100 bucks - worth about what I paid for it! I plan to strip it naked and ride the hell out of it. Basically I will polish the wheels, most of the motor components, lose the fenders, lose the air box, mount the battery down low, throw on some avon rubber -and really clean it up so that it looks like a 60's style cafe racer... a buddy of mine has done this with a couple of CB 350's and for the money, they make a cool little get around town bike... Mostly I'm bored, and my boys will have fun with the project... I will be starting in April or so - and plan to document the build here. Stay tuned.

And if you hate Honda's, Japanese bikes, rice burners, etc.. I'm cool with that - I'm not trying to be a Harley guy... Just doing some cool fabrication and reworking the relic...
