VTX 1800 Hardtail Chopper Build

Hey All,

First post here. Have been lurking for a while. I am starting a Honda 1800 VTX conversion to a hardtail with 38 degree rake, 3" stretch and 6 degree trees. The bike is being torn down and the new frame built. I will post the progress as it goes. You can check out my site with the "before" pics and some fabrication on the fender. I have already modified it quite a bit from stock with a lot of painting, some pipes, airkit, power commander and whatnot. There will be a new tank, seat and a lot of the useless parts will be stripped. See my site, below.

Have a good one,

Hotmoltenlava

Sweet! I'm currently working on my 1800 also. The tins are at the painter now, going with pearl wite and pearl black. I also painted my engine but also polished my fins. I WISH I could find a P4 intake.

He's mine:

Nope. I finished painting the motor on Saturday. Assembly will begin on Thursday. I post pics on my site soon after I take them, so that would be the place to watch. PM me if you want more details.

Have a good one.
