So are you going to run a back fender? If not, you'll want to consider putting a little more bend in that seat...if you give it too much throttle that tire will eat your ass for dinner...

Beyond that, it's looking very cool...probably one of the most unique designs I've seen..

Yeah I'm getting a fender for it shortly I hope, It won't wrap around all that much though.

Thanks for the comments guys!

just set up a quick demonstration of the air system for myself, thought it'd be fun to put it online. Just a practice to see how well it's working. And I must say, I'm pretty happy
The rails in this video are right at about 4", and it'll come up even more because my front tire has a hole in the tube, so once I'm able to air it up properly it should give me another inch or so. No dragging for me!

YouTube - Fun with air

Thanks
Sky

Should be working now.

I think I'm going to have to put in some sort of restrictor in the lines to make sure it airs up slowly like that. I don't need it to be an ejector seat

Excellent work. I did watch the Fun with Air movie clip. I have only one suggestion: You may consider reinforcing the lower pivot points where they connect the swingarm to the frame. Maybe with some kind of wider and taller side plates with matching flat surfaces around the bolt-throughs. Possibly welding a steel tube between the two inside tabs (on the swingarm) and running a single long bolt through it (instead of two). Or widening the stance of the air cylinders.

I mention this only because there is no real structural support on the top of the swingarm, except for the two skinny extensions (from the air cylinders) and they are mounted close together. That may not be enough to keep things from trying to teeter or twist out of alignment when your weight is on it while actually riding. I was going to suggest getting a friend to help you and try to move and twist the wheel sideways with the air in the "up" position to see if there are any 'slack' areas. But it may not show itself until you ride it; since bumps in the road and other irregularities deliver sharper, jarring impacts than can be simulated.

Of course, if it rides fine --chuck my suggestions. Overall your work is amazing and inspiring.

Not much done lately- But I got my tail light in, and I made the bracket for it. I'm happy with it.

Here's a shot of it aired up- almost perfectly alright.

Thanks for looking
Sky

OK, so I don't think I've ever been more wrong about how something would look on my bike.

I received my rear fender today, and all along I figured that there would barely be a fender there, just a smallish nub, enough to mainly keep the dirt off my back, but putting the fender on the bike changes the whole look of it, and honestly, I kinda like it.

Here's a bunch of pictures of the fender in various places with the bike aired up, and down.

Let me know what you think looks best,
Thanks
Sky

I like picture #7 as long as you trim the sides back so it's maybe a 1/2" bigger than the rim diameter.

#7 as well - yes trim the side wall, but keep the length towards the battery - trim it where the frame heads up to the axle housing

I am going to have to ride over to bend and take a look at this. Last time I was over there with my bike I got pulled over 3 time in 3 days for have my plate vertical like yours. Your looks to be lying down too.....think you get harassed over there about it?

Saw the video looks like enough clearance to me, my bike is exactly 4 inches from the ground and the only thing I drag is my forward control....cheap ass 6061. But it proves I ride it and matches the look of my bike!
