Hey all,,,thanks for the interest in the chop. It is a shaft drive and it has not been lengthened,,,only lowered in the rear which changes the rake slightly allowing the ILLUSION that its longer.

This is not a slam but I have to say. I like the bike better in black and white. I think it would be cool with black, whites and silvers in the final machine maybe?

Well got some work done on the bike on my days off. The original headlight mount system required all sorts of funky shit that woulda cluttered the front end,, so I decided to figure out something different. I also didnt like the look of the lower triple tree, so I thought I would try to cover it up.
So here is how it looked when I started.
SO I cut and drilled this,,,
And used it to cover the lower tree,,,
Then I found this set of Fender struts of a Harley softail I had laying around,,,
And I cut them up and welded them to this other piece of steel,,,
Well actually before I welded them to the other piece,,,I bolted them to the light to get some measurements,,,kinda looks like a dog with floppy ears!!

Nice job on the headlight mount but you gotta do something about that bottom cover. It looks too much like a yield sign.
What if you cut out some fangs instead? Kind of like this but maybe a bit longer... VvvvV
Just being honest, don't take offense!

I think with the headlight installed,,,,and once its all painted to match,,,it wont stick out quite so much.
Hell as far as that goes,,,mabey I will paint it like a yield sign
