I was looking through your gallery at some of the closeups of your frame. As long as you get good penetration (like you are) then you can smooth it out with your hand/bench grinder. And speaking of that lovely little hand/bench grinder.....I never realized that they were so versital.

Yeah...well....I was studying and had to take a break before I went nuts.......woops...too late!

It smells funny in here......

You better be working on that chop this weekend.

Remember:

"I chop, therefore I am."

Billet is for pussies that can't make their own shit.

If there is a God he rides a chopper...and he built it...without a catalog.

The primary reason for paint is to stop rust....you cant ride paint and rust actually ain't so bad....

Ditto for chrome......

Your chopper will never call the police on you....even if you ride another chopper....even if you own a few choppers...even if you kick it and call it nasty names.....

If it has nothing to do with making the bike go, strongly consider cutting it off...even if it happens to be the brakes.

If somebody says you can't or shouldn't do it, strongly consider doing it...they will absolutely treat you in the ER even if you are broke. Besides real men have scars and women dig them.

If it has wheels...chop it.

Elevators smell different to midgets.

There are two kinds of riders: Those that ride sitting up like a king on a throne and those that ride bent over like a queen.

A clean truck finds cars.

E=mc˛ did NOT get Einstein a Nobel Prize...contrary to popular belief....the Annus Mirabilis Papers did.....and no, they were not rolling papers.

George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

And Lat but not least...................

Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
How do you measure success?
To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty,
to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived --
This is to have succeeded.

Rice, I understand what your trying to accomplish with the gussets (keep this bike together) but I think you can get by with much smaller ones. Cut them down to where they can attach at the middle of the tube and they wont need to be as large. By having them attach to the exterior surface of the frame your relying strickly on the strength of the welds. If on the inside of the frame the weld is not as critical.

But definately cut down on that one on the rear............even if it means the ass end of the bike will fall apart

Yea, I do. When you had the other one covering the right swing arm, it looked gaudy.
