So even after syncing the carbs,, and placing baffles in the pipes,,,still she will sit and idle but when I try to wick it up,,,it falls out and stalls. So I was thinking I needed to change my main jet,,,callled a local bike shop for a second opinion. He advised me that the main is only used during 3/4 + throttle. He suggested instead to change the pilot and/or change the setting on the needle. So I pull the vacume slides out to change the needle setting, and the damn needle stays inside the carb (supposed to be attatched to the slide.). Pulled the diaphrams and slides and needles out of the old carbs and put them in mine,,,runs like a top. Didnt even need to change the Jets.

I mean,,who knew those needles had to move and allow gas through? lol

Well,,Finally got the carbs straight,,the wiring mostly wrapped up,,got it all together and have been riding it. Other than a few minor snafus (loosening bolts etc.) everything seems good. I get lots of looks!
