I hate rice BUT that said I like what you're doin. This is what a chop is all about, building with what you got. I think we're in a minority though, most ppl are out buyin $500 forward controls and $100 bar grips. I got a new chop almost done and 90% of it is shit other people were throwing away.

Glad you like it, and glad I could help. Personally,,Im not running turn signals,,,just gonna use hand signals. I thought about getting the LED Maltese cross taillight/ turn signal combo,,but I couldnt think of a way to to the front signals that I cared for,,,and the LED was WAY more money. Im a cheap ass!

Alright,,i posted these pics elswhere,,but figured I should update the build thread. Took the bike to the local exhaust shop and had these built. Not sure If I like them,,Im thinking about making them shorter,,,,or making a bracket off of them (cuz they are rigid as hell) to hold the fender still,,and removing the sissy bar. Would love to hear opinions and suggestions.

I would cut the exhaust right at the rear axle just before the last bend. Now that I looked at it a second time, maybe leave 12" after the bend. A nice little upsweep would look good. Besides, you could always cut if off if you don't want it that long.
