Planishing hammer & english wheel

anyone have any suggestions on what to do with? (companies/brand) or what to stay away from?

wanna get something worth the $$, but not over the top $$

looked at a Jet, grizzly and a few others...just wondering what everyone suggested..

The Harbor Freight English wheels are absolute garbage. I got my wheel from MetalCraft Tools, but I'm not sure they're in business anymore. I have the benchtop version, and it's AWESOME.

I don't have a planishing hammer...never really had a use for one...so I can't speak to those.

I built all my own. I'll get some pics up in a day or two. If you can build a bike, why can't you build the tools, right? Not positive, but there might be pics of them in my old shop forum in the custom builders/distributors area under Midnight Oil. My english wheel is built out of 3/16 plate (into a boxed frame). I had a buddy of mine turn the dies for me, they are the only thing you really need to buy when it comes down to it if you don' have the lathe. There are plans for both wheels and hammers all over the internet.
