Brass Riser Engraving for Big Mike

I finished these yesterday. They are After Hours Choppers brass Flat Track risers which I polished and engraved. Brass is a great material to cut deep for a dimensional bold appearance. I call this style 'Vintage Pirate' font.

I also did these brass grips for John at Hoosier Daddy Choppers. I have been doing a series of Jack Daniel parts for his JD theme bike.

I had a CNC machinist approach me with his new program he has to do CNC engraving. He claimed it would cut down the cost, which I'm sure it would. I told him it would also cut out the SOUL. He didn't understand. I declined.

I wish I could somehow cut down on the time involved to reduce the cost, but there is not way. I do no mind bartering. In fact, if anyone has a Bravo Company M4 or Colt M4 16" upper, I will trade for some engraving!!!

I hear ya man, its the same way with leather. I cant sell a seat for what the materials cost. And I cant sell one unless its worthy either. Im all for paying what it costs for the SOUL of it....when I can that is. Thats why they are so bad ass, and why I would want it on my bike.
