2005 BD Chopper with medustas

Chris,
I purchased the Medustas with heat shields, force winder cleaner and custom trick backing plate.

Had to have custom bracket fabricated to secure pipes to my 2005 chopper.

The bike looks and sounds totally awesome!

I have a bit of pooping on decel. I have been infomred this is normal with this pipe. Actually I was told by the dealer that decel popping is normal for any pipe without baffles. The dealer played with the jetting, and improved it some.

I have talked with someone with an 04 ridgeback with the medustas and he tells me he has no noticable decel.

The 05 is a 117 CI and the )$ is a 107. I had the restrictor plates removed when the air cleaner was installed.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Mike

I am not sure what caused the popping on decel, but the 05 does it with every exhaust even the stock system. The cones for the exhaust side fixed the 04 and 03 bikes with short pipes so you might try that.

85% of the pipes we install are Martin Bros, and most of them have some sort of pop.rumble on decell.

I think it is just the nature of the beast...
